Starting Calibre Associates: Why I Stepped Into Talent Management

People sometimes ask why I started a talent management agency while I am still actively modeling, acting, and creating UGC content myself. The honest answer is that the two were never really separate for me.
Years in front of the camera as a UGC creator, model, and on camera talent gave me a clear sense of what brands actually look for when choosing a creator, actor, or influencer for a campaign. I had sat through enough briefs, castings, and shoot days to know what made a collaboration work and what made it fall flat.
Building Calibre Associates
Through Calibre Associates, I now offer talent management and creator partnership services, connecting brands with the right UGC creators, models, actors, and on camera talent for their campaigns. I identify and coordinate suitable talent, manage partnerships from outreach through execution, and work closely with brands on campaign communication and content strategy.
Still one and the same
It feels less like stepping away from acting and modeling and more like building on it. I know what makes a creator right for a brand because I have been one, and that shapes how I manage talent and represent brands today.
I am focused on building long term collaborations in content, branding, acting, campaign communication, and talent management, and I remain open to working directly on camera as well, whether that is UGC, modeling, acting, or brand representation.
If you are curious what I actually look for when placing talent on a brand's behalf, I wrote about that in What I Look for When Managing Talent. You can also follow along on Instagram or LinkedIn.
