A model photoshoot in Agra goes smoothly when the plan is written down before the day. These are the points that save the most time.

• The purpose of the shoot: catalogue, lookbook, editorial, social content or campaign.
• A mood board or reference images, so the look is agreed before anyone is on set.
• The full list of outfits and accessories, with the order you want to shoot them in.
• The location, the hours of light available and whether it is indoors or outdoors.
• Who handles hair, makeup and styling, and who will be on the team.
• The deliverables and where the images will be used.
• How many hours you expect the shoot to run, including breaks.

How a model shoot day usually runs

A well planned shoot starts with a short talk about the look and the shot list. Styling and makeup come next, then the first outfit is tested under the light so the photographer can set exposure and the model can settle into the frame. Breaks matter more than people expect. Water, a few minutes between outfits and a clear order of looks keep the last images as fresh as the first. If a garment needs pinning, ironing or steaming, that time should be built into the schedule and not squeezed out of the shooting hours.
